Sainsbury's - Reservar una mesa

I knew it was going to be a disaster when I went for a knife and fork and there were none...no knives and forks in a restaurant??? Then when they arrived they didn 't even look clean.... I took my 85yr old mother there while I did a bit of shopping. She chose fish and chips. When I got back from the shopping I thought she would be all finished but she was barely starting and she glared at me and told me the story. She said she had to go and ask for the fish as she had been sitting for half an hour and nothing had arrived. She said the coffee was the worst she had ever tasted and that when she had asked about her fish the woman at the counter said 'the fish was hard to fry ' whatever that means... She had a horrible experience and said she world never go there again so we 're boycotting Sainsburys altogether when I told her the meal had cost £10 (fish and chips, éclair and coffee) she nearly choked all over again. Poor cooks, poor waiters poor everything a total disgrace!

We always stop at the cafe before shopping we usually have one small one large both with extras breakfast.On the large I swop mushrooms for the tomato. On Monday I decided to ask if I could swop the hash browns for mushroom answer no.I would think.that the hash browns cost more than one mushroom so it would be a gain for Sainsbury but still no.I am not a real fan of hash browns so perhaps they could do one without.The staff are brilliant but this is a supermarket cafe so it's never going to be a top cafe.

This is the cafe in the supermarket, bit basic and staff were in the kitchen and paying little attention to people waiting to be served at the counter. Food was lukewarm

Tasty coffee, my wife needed a little extra as not had breakfast and found the avocado on toast exceedingly tasty and great value for money

Visit this Sainsbury's 2/3 times a week for my family shopping. Staff are friendly and rarely leave without the items wishing to purchase
