A sushi lover's paradise. As someone who has been eating sushi for the past 30 years, who also used to travel quite often for work, I have had the pleasure of sampling a wide range of sushi from various restaurants across the country. I tried this place for the first time yesterday and had really great expectations, but the food was not good at all. I always see cars there at dinner time so I assumed that it would be really good. My boyfriend and I ordered two plates, one steak and shrimp and one steak and chicken, and my boyfriend got a sushi roll plate. As soon as we began eating, I opened my plate and both the rice and meat just looked plain. There was no seasoning on anything and it looked like the steak had just been boiled in water rather than grilled. The taste was so bad, it just had NO flavor. PLEASE DONT EAT HERE !!!! Just rude ! We had an order today 10/24/2022 on it uber eats and we received the order just fine via the delivery driver. The items were packaged nicely and the food was still warm. We opened our shrimp fried rice and chicken fried rice to find that our rice was plain fried rice. We called the restaurant immediately and asked if it was a mistake and the young lady on the phone asked what I assumed to be the owner or cook… and she immediately said we were lying ! This was my very first time visiting this restaurant. I was not disappointed so I had to visit again. I love these kinda cuisine. I took some home with me with though the portion size was not as large as I usually receive at similar restaurants. My husband thought the portion size needed improvement, but I was fine with mine. It was the worst Japanese food we’ve tried. The portions were ridiculous, but it wouldn’t be a big deal if the taste wasn’t so terrible. The rice was just a taste of black pepper and nothing else. Food was highly overpriced for its quality. We tried all kinds of Japanese restaurants in different states and so far this is the worst one we’ve been to. Service was good but food is so terrible.
