If you appreciate the basic elements of dining like eating your dinner at roughly the same time as those you're dining with then don't go here. My partner and I went to this restaurant on a busy Thursday night in Bondi. This restaurant however was not busy. We ordered a very simple sushi entre which was fine. Mains were ordered too: mine beef udon and chicken teriyaki for my partner. My udon arrived shortly after we finished entre. I started expecting my partner's meal shortly thereafter. We waited, waited, waited (35 minutes by this stage). No word or update from our waitress. We asked the waitress (who was clearly avoiding us) for an update and she told us the kitchen was on it....read mor...
Perfect!. We've been here a couple of times now and have had a beautiful meal on both occasions. The crisp on the outside and meltingly soft on the inside miso eggplant is divine as is the cooked to perfection pork belly. The only criticism I have is that the salmon was a little over cooked for my taste but other than that everything was superb. The service is spot on and the waiters professional and friendly. My three year old loved all the food too. We will definitely be back.
*jasmine’s review* a nice mood, looks like you are in a restaurant in japan. we ordered gyoza, kaarage chicken and a salmon deluxe sushi roll. the food was very tasty overall. the part was very generous. the caarage chicken was served in Japanese wise with a lemon wedge on the side; it will be good and juicy. there were baptisms of filling in the sushi very appetit. we will come back for other items in the menu.
so we got there about 6 dishes, the first came after 10 min (the sashimi) then all the rest was delayed in 5060 min (including the edamame) when we asked why after (45 min) (beacuse the restaurant was not busy at all) they replied that they had a few deliveries to visit first and that is why our food was delayed the most of the food after 50 ok came out of a court

eating is pretty good, but not amazing. the service is generally great, especially if it is served by its regular (blonde) waitress, which it always feels welcome and often checked on screen glorify. this place is good for a medium week inexpensive meal. the restaurant is very small so they can talk without screaming.
Good joint. Really like this palace. Good service, fresh food, good vibes. A great local joint for dropping in on and getting good Japanese. Thanks Sushi St.
excellent food, nice little restaurant. two or three plates to share between us. have 34 different sakes that I have not been able to see how it was lunch!.
I highly recommend Sake street for its fresh and tasty menu items. The mixed sashimi plate was the best I've had in the area. We will be back!

Obsessed!!. I can't eat sushi from anywhere else now!! Super fresh, awesome produce and real tasty. One of my top 5 in bondi. Yum.
