Totally disappointed! We went close to closing, so we requested for take out, Mistake#1. My wife is a vegetarian and likes her food separate than my meat. This personnel packed in the same container causing her to not eat her sushi and my Friday was ruined with unhappy wife. As she didn't want to eat there and I was ok for carryout. Then I checked in on yelp to redeem my mochi ice cream/gyosa they denied strictly denied, we don't do coupons, mistake #2 check in social media so we form memories but now I will remember such a terrible customer service and no carryout. Mistake#3 Lastly the food had no flavor, you eat asian food you get spices and flavor. My wife ordered veggie fried rice he lit...
This last time, the staff behind the sushi bar exchanged glances as if they recognized us as the "big order" guests, and they seemed annoyed by it. They consistently skimp on our rolls, assuming we won't notice. We know the rules: you have to eat what you order, and we never leave anything behind. However, on this occasion, we didn’t receive three of the rolls we ordered, so we had to put in another request to get those. To make matters worse, we all ended up feeling incredibly sick afterward! Some of the fish tasted off, leading us to believe they served us older fish, hoping we wouldn't recognize it. If you're struggling with costs, perhaps it’s time to reconsider the all-you-can-eat mode...
This is truly my favorite restaurant in the area. While there are fewer all-you-can-eat sushi options in the suburbs compared to Chicago, Sake Sushi Grill competes well with the spots in the city. Their makis are exceptional, featuring a perfect fish-to-rice ratio, and the quality of the fish is consistently good, often great. I particularly enjoy the yellowtail and salmon makis. The dinner menu also offers some intriguing special rolls at only a slight increase in price. The service is attentive but not intrusive. Plus, the value is fantastic, with lunch priced at just $20. I make it a point to dine here every other weekend!
In an upperclass suburban strip mall in Lake Zurich a sign says SAKE. It should have said Holy Grail of ALL YOU CAN EAT Sushi . Simply the best freshest sushi served in generous and unlimited portions at pre-COVID pricing. Wow...recommended at TEN STARS without hesitation...it doesn 't get any better or fresher. This is our FAVORITE sushi place in the area ... very consistent high quality sushi, appetizers, and entrees. Very good service and fresh prep by the chefs is ALWAYS consistent. Good value for a fresh sushi and other authentic japanese cuisine. They also have all you can eat at lunch and dinner that's really a great value If you haven't tried this place, we recommend this very highly to everyone.
I visited this restaurant with a friend and her son, and we were all very pleased with the variety offered on the All-You-Can-Eat menu. I highly recommend trying the Godzilla Roll, but be cautious with the tuna salad on the Crunch Roll. It’s a family-friendly spot and a lot of fun! The sushi, especially the tuna and salmon, was fantastic!
