We hit the jackpot with a fantastic recommendation from a local food enthusiast and decided to check out a sushi spot in Cerritos for a much-needed fix. Arriving at 2:30pm on a Sunday, we encountered a line by the door with about 8 parties ahead of us. As a party of 2, we only had to wait 10 minutes before getting our own table. This place has fallen a few rungs since my previous visits. The price keeps on going up while the AYCE menu items become more and more limited. The big nigiri scallop and sweet raw shrimp are gone, and that was pretty much the only reason why my wife and I would make the trip out there any chance I'd have the opportunity during the week for lunch.I don't see spending $37 per person and making the drive to Cerritos worth while anymore. Quality Nigri and amazing service! One of my favorite AYCE sushi spots and you can't beat for the $30 price point. I simply stuck with Nigri and my favorite pieces were the Yellowtail, seared tuna, unagi (eel), albacore, shrimp, tuna and mackerel and the scallops. The quality of the fish is fresh and served in a delicious rendition, now I can see why there's always typically a waiting time for this place. Had to order the garlic edamame and shrimp tempura and shishito peppers. When you arrive, check in at the tablet out front of the establishment and they will text/call and or hear your name when your table is ready.
I have to say that this is one of the best All-You-Can-Eat sushi restaurants I have ever visited. It is very popular, which is why there was a long wait. We arrived at 6:30pm and waited for at least 45 minutes. The happy hour menu and prices are good. You can also order a la carte, but we chose the All-You-Can-Eat option for $30 per person. The pros include fresh quality ingredients, a great rice to sushi ratio, and excellent service. However, the downside was that it took a while for our food to arrive and the pacing was slow. This may have been due to the restaurant being busy even on a Thursday night.

If you love all-you-can-eat sushi, then Sake 2 Me should definitely be on your dining destination list. They offer a menu full of options to satisfy your omega-3 cravings. Be sure to arrive early to avoid the dinner rush. I visited with some friends for happy hour on a Friday at 4:30 pm and only had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. We arrived just in time, as there was already a line out the door. The portions were generous, perfect for sharing, and you have the option to pay a fee to take home any leftovers you can't finish.
I was able to visit on a weekday when there wasn't much of a wait, and now I understand why the wait is usually so long. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and everything we tried was tasty. The all-you-can-eat option is the best because the menu offers a wide variety of choices. My favorite part was their No-rice rolls, which I think is where the creativity shines. They had some interesting no rice options that were enjoyable to taste. I now understand the hype and will definitely be returning for more.
This was my first time coming here. The food was delicious including their appetizers and sushi rolls. The service was fast and very friendly. The restaurant is very nice, clean , and have a great atmosphere. They have a-lot of sushi rolls you can choose from their menu. I would definitely come back here again. If you're ever near at Cerritos mall you should come by here for lunch and dinner. I also love their raspberry iced tea it is delicious and refreshing.
We had to wait a bit before being seated, but we could check in electronically. The sushi was decent, but not exceptional. Some of the ingredients had a strong sesame oil flavor, which overshadowed the other flavors. Each sushi roll costs between $16-19 at this restaurant. Be careful not to over-order, as they charge a fee for uneaten pieces of sushi.
