Headed in for a family birthday celebration. Great - food fresh and well presented. - menu offers many options including banquet offering. Not so great - overpriced for what you get, tables awkward in that wait staff have to hand food over guests to get to you. Also they have two banquet options available but in our party of 8 we had to only order one or the other. Since when does a restaurant tell you can't have something on the menu! In the end we opted for the less expensive one so the restaurant got less in the end. Felt very production orientated in that we were told this is what they would provide for us. Ridiculous, given the prices charged. Felt the wait staff were inconvenienced by...

Last week was my second visit to Saki. We dined here in March 2015 with 8 others as a wedding celebration and it was an excellent dining experience. Great food, service and value for money so we were excited to be attending a Henschke wine dinner here last week. The wine and service was good, but unfortunately the food just missed the mark. It lacked the interesting flavour combinations, presentation and quality we expected. It may have been difficult to serve food to a large group (approx. 50) and work in with the wine comments etc but in the end, the food wasn't up to scratch. For the prices you pay, you expect better-they knew about the function, the numbers and the format- in my opinion...

Was treated to a wonderful meal with great service. Staff helpful and attentive without being obsequious.Contemporary Japanese, whatever that means- think the idea is a modern twist, but if you still fancied traditional Japanese, that was available too.We had the sashimi combo- very good, grilled eggplant ( clearly with another name)- totally divine, grilled octopus- wow and then the barramundi with broccolini as a main- delicious. ( a side of rice too). Can't fault any of it. Probably one can do without desert- a chocolate cake with sorbet- too Australian. Only required one main course with the rest for the 2 of us.Overall a thoroughly enjoyable meal and evening. This with a bottle of excel...

Hearty congratulations to the chef and our Canadian waiter! The flavours and combinations in each dish were superb and well varied. The service was positive, attentive and entertaining. Another highlight was the amazing selection of Japanese craft beers which were interesting and beautiful. The evening could have been outstanding, but for a few small negatives. On attempting to book a table by phone, we were told that it was not possible but we (a family of 5) should just turn up and hope for a table. Fortunately we were squeezed in. Our feeling afterwards was that the menu was a little light in quantity and a little heavy on the pocket. Nevertheless we would recommend that you give it a try... Reserva una mesa ahora

My partner and I went to Saki for both our Birthday's and had hoped for a nice dating night. I couldn't fault the flavour of the dishes we had, especially loved the white soy snapper but I wouldn't go back. TIP if you order more than 3 starters with just 2 people please notify the staff as we ordered 5 dishes which came all out at the same time and if you have a tiny area to sit (we sat at the end of the long shared table) there is no room for 5 plates. I like to enjoy and eat my food slowly but instead we felt really rushed as we did like to eat our warm dishes warm. For the prices they charge I expected more.

This was our second time eating here.Both visits for birthday celebrations.Modern, innovative, creative, delicious. Expensive for "everyday" dining but we love to make a birthday special by spoiling ourselves. I loved everything!Saki ( rice wine) was delicious, perfectly matched to the Japanese food. Fresh fresh fresh!!! Staff could have been a little more attentive but overall " well done" Life is to be enjoyed, and yes we definitely enjoyed this dining experience.... ;-)Total bill was $ 1,200 for a party of 8.

I have eaten here a lot. Generally, the food and service is excellent. The new menu is not as good as the previous menu. Not cheap. A good outside bar with city views and river glimpses. One of my favourite places to eat lunch in Brisbane.

The flavours are always amazing. A bit disappointed that the prawn balls weren't available and the tempura oysters aren't on the menu anymore, but we found other options that were just as nice. Still one of my favourite restaurants. Reserva una mesa ahora

A very nice Bar by the River side with a peaceful ambience which was what i liked the most... very good, prompt and hospitable service without intrusion so to say...

I took my wife here for a surprise diner and we had a great time with great food and such an amazing view. Would recommend for sure.
