We know this cafe/restaurant mostly for the excellent coffee but now frequent it at lunchtimes as well. The small cooking space means that it 's heavily biased towards excellent salads with much of the produce home made by Sophie. Other typical dishes available..steak tartares, farcies so meals that are not elaborate or take a lot of cooking on the day but are presented beautifully. 3 Salad Italiennes..a good quantitiy of excellent Parma/Melon Mozzarella/Tomatoes marinated vegetable mixed salad..16 Euros. Most dishes in the range 14-16 Euros which is OK but it 's the care with presentation and enthusiasm for her home cooking which stands out. Excellent home made tartes as well as ices.
After a well deserved 3 month rest Sophie ably assisted by Jean-Pierre has opened for 2020. We are fans from several lunchtime visits. Generous salads ..Italienne can be recommended... to specials. I had an Assiete Montagne, hams, saussison, salad really tasty raclette type potato, a little onion and melted cheese. A real winter warmer eaten outside under a deep blue January sky. One cafe gourmand to finish. Together with a demi of rose...48Euros. A real favourite of ours and I even appreciate J-P's humour...and of course Sophie's cooking and hospitality.
As people who eat in the evening we kept checking on Salad'in and were surprised to establish it is only a lunch time venue. So we went there for lunch one day and were pleasantly surprised. They have a sunny outside space and serve very tasty salads. I tried one of their specials being stuffed Mediterranean vegetables along with a side salad and my wife had one of their main salads. Both were good, well dressed and well presented. The owner was also extremely friendly and welcoming. You can't go far wrong with a lunch time visit to this place.
We really like Salad 'in and find the various salads excellent. Good servings with nice touches e.g. home made pickled vegetables. You 'll probably find 1-2 daily specials. Salads at about Euros 16 are fairly priced but I wouldn 't class this as a cheap eats place..it 's far better than that. Sophie is a great cook and friendly host. The only caveat is the opening days seem pretty random....so if you 're passing, looking for a lunch spot and it 's open don 't hesitate to go in.

Belle découverte à Fayence, entre l'église et la poste, un restaurant un peu caché, mais une savoureuse cuisine régionale avec des spécialités telles que aïoli, souris d'agneau, petits farcis (15 euros). Le service est très agréablet et attentif. La cuisine faite maison est succulente et copieuse. Belle terrine de poisson en entrée, et cafe très gourmand comme dessert pour clôturer en beauté. Prix très raisonnables. Chaudement recommandé.
Sitting a bit elevated from the roadside, this patio cafe specializes in green salads of all types, with a variety of meat and seafood toppings. We tried the daily special omelet with mushrooms. It was very good, served with bread. There were so many mushrooms, we pushed half to the side! The jug of house wine was great, and not expensive.
Sophie makes everything herself and the food is delicious. Everything is made with fresh local produce. If you want a healthy meal this is the place to go. It is possible to get a vegetarian meal. I am a local and eat here all year round.
Very good salads that are generous in size and of good quality. There is always a good plat dunjourvon offer. Friendly personal service is the norm here. A regular lunch venue for us.
