Sorry to give a 2* rating but I ordered 2 pieces of chicken and chips at lunchtime just before closing. The chicken looked dry and overdone and it had possibly been in the hot cupboard for some time. The taste confirmed this very disappointed especially when it is £5 for 2 pieces! I wanted to keep it local but sadly the quality just let you down . The best fish and chip shop in the local area. Genuinely just had the best gluten free haddock and chips in my entire life. Could not recommend highly enough. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available. Batter is golden, crispy and delicious. Kid-friendliness: Kids meal comes with crayons and an activity book. Beautiful fish, and chips are not greasy like some chippys.. waiting time Is a little longer than expected, and they seem to concentrate more on outside orders for just eat etc., but worth the wait. Enjoy my fish and chips last night with some amazing hand made tartare sauce. The tartare sauce was the highlight of my evening it really lifted the dish with a amazing natural salty finish. They must have a secret ingredient they're not telling us about. Food: 5 Service: 5
