The service at this restaurant is terrible. They show no concern for their customers. My group of 4 ordered pastries and tea, but the small teapot and cups led us to run out of hot water. When we requested more, we were told there would be a $7 charge, which we found outrageous. The owner and his daughter, Noor, were very rude. I will not support this business and will warn others about their disrespectful behavior. The food is just average, and there are better dining options nearby. Avoid this place unless you don't mind being treated poorly.

I got takeout from this restaurant last year and I distinctly remember telling my friend that it was the best chicken shawarma and rice I have ever had. I returned a few weeks ago to dine in with the same friend and Sallora Sam did not disappoint. The rice is flavorful without being too salty and has the perfect texture (similar to al dente pasta). The chicken is tender and everything is fresh and light. The owners were generous enough to let us try their desserts as well. This is a great spot for both takeout and dining in.

This is hands down the best bakery for Middle Eastern sweets in Illinois. The quality is outstanding and it's definitely a hidden gem. The halwa cheese is legendary, even better than what I've had in the Middle East, and the pudding and harisa are also top-notch. The emphasis on quality ingredients and cleanliness really shines through in this place. There's no question that this is the best place in town for sweets.

By far one of the best Middle Eastern restaurants I have been to. The meat is high quality and cooked to perfection.My 2 kids who usually only ever eat chicken and fries both ate a whole mixed grill.The service is spectacular. Amazing selection of sweets and the girl behind the counter was really nice in helping with the selection. There?s one sweet made of dates with pistachio and nuts on top. I wish I bought more!
