Not really sure what u experienced today. I ordered via slice and when I got there they told me the slice app was down. Not their fault- but I ordered a pie and a salad, they told me they don't do salads. Their menu on slice was extensive, confused why that would be. Also heard someone ask for garlic knots which they also didn't have. Then I had to wait 20 min for my pie. The place is tiny with boxes everywhere you turn. The pizza was decent. For the 1,000 pizza places on LI they need to step up their game. Confused if it is was just today or if they don't normally have a menu.
They make a pretty good pie especially the ravioli pie. But $35 for a pie with toppings? Come on Sal really. Your pies aren't that good. Definitely not worth the price. Many better choices in area. Your not really giving away free pies on Sunday if your charging 2x the price as other spots. Never has a correct menu. Every time you go in there the price is different. Menus are never accurate. Order a dozen knots they take the order then on arrival don't have the knots because they ran out of garlic. What kind of pizza place runs out of garlic?
If I could give you six stars, I absolutely would! We held my daughter's baby shower at your restaurant yesterday, and you made us feel like family. The food was wonderful, the portions were generous, and the wait staff was exceptional. When a room full of Italian ladies leaves so full that they have to take home their entrees, you know it was a success. I can't thank you enough!
pizza is so overpriced and not worth the money.. everytime i go to this place theres NO pizza EVER ready when they open.. makes zero sense also dont understand how they never have chicken for a restaurant... all they basically sell is pizza everyday.. ive stopped going to sals. cant believe the difference compared to when they first opened what a shame

Our first time going. It is truly a family owned restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious. Our waiter Tom (owner son) was so attentive, fun and really was warm and friendly. All the staff is wonderful! Everything is made there! Had the owners Italian cheesecake… spot on!!!.. my husband and I will be regulars. It’s definitely a gem in Smithtown…
The food is absolutely fantastic, and Sal and the staff are incredibly friendly and professional. My family has been coming here for years, and we've never been disappointed. The seafood salad feels like a taste of heaven! The escarole with garlic and oil was also excellent!
Went to order some food for the family and before I even got to my second food order I was rejected on the sausage and peppers hero I requested because they didn 't feel like making my hero . First time I have ever had to deal with that from any food establishment.
I hosted my daughters bridal shower there. Food was delicious. Service was outstanding. Wish I could rate higher than 5 stars!! I Highly recommend Sals’n

The restaurant is amazing. Well designed establishment with great food.Cheesecake is by far the best I think I’ve ever had and I travel for a living.
We absolutely adore Sal's of Smithtown. The food is fantastic, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. This has become my go-to place for takeout!
