This bar is one of the most fun bars I’ve been too, we discovered it on social media thought we’d give it a try. The music here is great the bartender even gave us a round of free shots with our first drink! We had some American style hot dogs which we’ll definitely be back for. We ended up returning back to bar later on that night, the venue was and the atmosphere was even better with the place being packed out. We were also advised to visit the secret venue above the bar called 81 which is a speakeasy cocktail bar!
Great service in a relaxed atmosphere with a good range of cocktails at a great price. Bartenders are skilled and chilled and a good laugh. They had always sunny playing on one monitor and early 2000s pop punk playing when we visited. Captures a night out that many other cities have lost, worth a visit if you're out and fancy a quick stein. Garden out back

Not a place to go if you want to sit in comfort, not worried about what has been there before you and not cleaned. The toilets look like they were put together by a cowboy and the place just smells a bit funky. Service is great though and the beer is cold so if you like it rough and ready, this is for you!

Salt Dogs is one of our top picks when it comes to bars. They always have fantastic music and the bartenders work well together. They offer free shots with your first drink and serve delicious hot dogs to accompany it. It's definitely one of the best bars in Liverpool.
It's always hot and sweaty in here because there's so many people crammed into the small space. The bottle service... Obviously we need mixers what are a few cans of tonic and a bottle of pineapple juice going to do for 3 bottles of booze? Smh
We visited this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon and unfortunately, I didn't have a positive experience. It was empty, with only my husband and I inside. I wasn't a fan of the graffiti and felt that the place needed a thorough cleaning.
Visited on a Friday early evening and Salt Dogs had such a good, relaxed vibe. We ended up staying there all night trying the different beers and cocktails. You can get a free hot dog too, and the music is always great.

There isn't anything remarkable about this establishment - just a grimy pub. However, I've heard that there is a fantastic hidden bar upstairs. It's a shame that you have to go through the lower level to access it.
