The white cheddar cracker mac and cheese was also delicious; I loved the slight crunch from the crackers added right at the end, which kept it from becoming soggy. Unfortunately, we arrived a bit later in the evening, so they had run out of brisket (if that’s a must-try for you, be sure to arrive early). Instead, we chose the burnt ends, which were fantastic, smoked with post oak.

We had a wonderful dining experience here! My favorite side dishes were the mac and cheese topped with crackers and the creamed corn, which had an amazing flavor (it included some peppers but wasn't too spicy). The sauce options were all excellent, featuring several unique choices that I haven't encountered elsewhere. We would absolutely return when we are in the area! It was quite busy on Friday night, but we were seated right away.
On a positive note, the restaurant boasts a delightful atmosphere with charming decor, making it a perfect spot for a date night! However, while the ambiance was appealing, I found the food to be underwhelming. It's possible that the Saturday night crowd impacted their service. In summary, the place is decent, but I personally prefer Sugarfire over this one.
The service was outstanding. We really enjoyed the brisket and potato salad. The ribs were delicious, though they were a bit different from what we're used to. The beef fat fries were the best fries I’ve ever had. I also loved the popover, which was a delightful new treat for us. Overall, we were very happy with our first meal in St. Louis!

The food was good, but not exceptional. The atmosphere was lively, and we enjoyed sitting outdoors on the lovely day. The brisket was flavorful, but it didn't quite measure up to Texas BBQ standards. The mac and cheese was tasty, but also not among the best I've had. Our server, Scot, was friendly and very accommodating.
The food was delicious, the service was quick, and it's lively for good reason! The ravioli was exceptional, especially since we had never had it before—highly recommend it! The BLT was pretty typical, nothing particularly special, but the fries were really good. The ribs were amazing, and I would absolutely come back!
I stopped by to pick up two popovers, expecting them to be served hot, as if they had just come out of the oven or at least kept warm. One of them was fine, but the other was burnt. I returned to the store with the burnt one, and they kindly replaced both. Although they still weren't hot, at least they were edible.
The food at this restaurant is outstanding, reflecting the effort and commitment involved in its preparation, and it's always fresh. The service is excellent, featuring friendly servers and a talented kitchen staff. The atmosphere is pleasant, which is why this place is a favorite among locals in St. Louis.

I had one of the best meals I've had in a long time! The mac and cheese was rich and buttery, simply scrumptious. The beef fat fries were distinctive and bursting with flavor. The brisket was exceptional, no question about it! I can’t wait to come back the next time I'm in St. Louis!
