Salt Straw - Reserva de mesa

I had a mixed experience at Salt and Straw in San Diego initially, but this recent visit was much better. The flavors offered are a nice mix of unique and familiar. Despite a long line on a Wednesday evening, it moved efficiently. I tried the coffee and love nuts flavor, which included chocolate covered pecans, and I really enjoyed it. The option for a kid size portion was an added bonus.

I have recommended Salt and Straw to several friends and family members. Even when there are a lot of customers, the staff are friendly. I appreciate getting to sample flavors. I know folks with allergies, and really appreciate that staff pay attention to this when giving people samples. Andrew is a really calm, friendly scooper. Am looking forward to the January flavors

Thank you, thank you Jacob for showing me an amazing experience today. The Lavender Honey and so many other flavors of ice cream makes this place beyond amazing. It makes Cold Stone Creamery look like hot pockets next to a gourmet calzone. So many delicious flavors! Such friendly staff! I almost wanted to pull a heist on the ice cream! It truly is THAT good! This is likely my 5th or 6th visit to a branch of Salt and Straw. The ice creams here are fantastic, especially the Honey Lavender flavor at this location compared to the one in Seattle. First time at this location but been to several of their other locations. Pretty good as usual. I try to always get their special flavors. This time I got a split single of the pistachio rose water w/ strawberry mochi and jasmine milk tea chocolate almond stracciatella.

I travel for work and the last time I had some good ice cream, was 2 years ago, and it was custard in the Midwest (WI). But this place made my taste buds happy. Great tasting flavors. Every flavor was one of a kind. They even have vegan options.

Best ice cream in town. The customer service was amazing. The staff was very attentive and cheerful! My son wanted to try lucky charm ice cream for a long time and I couldn't have chose a better ice cream shop!

What interesting flavors! We tried this place on a whim after dinner, and did not regret it. Don't be afraid to be adventurous try the Thanksgiving biscuits ice cream or the like!

Just amazing. Nothing can compare. Good service and large scoops. I'm a happy customer. Ice cream have a lot of depth in the flavor.
