Wonderful culinary experience all around. The menu changes often so its impossible to speak on a regular dish, but everything I've tried has been outstanding. Baked Brie, Gnocchi, Pork Belly, Rack of Lamb, all superb. The surprising stars of the show to me were the string beans and the fried egg plant that came as sides, and they were extraordinary, not to say that the mains weren't superb as well but these little sides really made an impression. The staff were kind, informative and made sure we were well looked after. I am really looking forward to my next visit to this restaurant and I recommend it to anyone looking for a share-plate style dinner with friends and family.
Loved the atmosphere, the service was excellent, the waitress was pleasant, helpful, efficient and not intrusive. And the food and drinks were very good, we shared a dozen fresh oysters, a ribeye steak (16oz) served with broccolini and roasted potatoes (this dish was served as a platter to be shared. Amazing spot in the heart of downtown Kelowna.We were served by the manager, can't recall her name but she was super friendly and welcoming.Food was outstanding, roasted chicken! Portions were large, the one main to share was more than enough for my partner and myself.The wine selection was excellent with lots of local options.Would make a point of going anytime I'm back. Book ahead as it is busy, rightfully so!
Unless you have a big appetite, tough to try many different items with portions so big unless: 1. Dine with at least 4 total people. Could try 4 dishes. 2. If just 2 people, you will have dinner for tomorrow again and still only ordered two dishes. Overall was great but darn if portions just too large. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Kelowna. The menu changes constantly and they're always some yummy things, for both vegetarians and meat eaters. Flavors are delicious. Good, but limited selection of wines by the glass. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Make for a lovely evening.
This was my third time at salt and brick and it was again a fantastic experience. The quality of food is amazing and only the freshest of ingredients are used. I love the variations in the menu and it's so nice to see the chefs and interact with them. Can't wait to go back.
