Salty Tomato Pizzeria

We are from West Haven first time ever ate there was today. It more than met our expectations! We got a medium meat lovers it was delicious. Lots of Juicy fresh toppings especially the sausage the sausage was huge and fresh we got extra cheese the crust was also delicious not a New York or New Haven style pizza by any means it was a toppings pizza but that's what we wanted it was delicious and every way very inexpensive to for all the food that we got the medium was huge! Highly recommend this place if you are in the area service was great as well don't overlook this place because it's in a dinky Plaza

I usually don’t take time write reviews but I ordered 3 eggplant parm subs and a plain cheese pizza. The eggplant was raw on one of them, the bread was stale on all 3 and there was barely any cheese on any of them. I gave it one star because the pizza was ok. I know inflation is crazy but it doesn’t excuse making people pay for an inferior product by skimping on things and using old bread. If the inflation is hurting that bad perhaps only serve pizza or shut down until you can get it together to make edible food

I don't usually write reviews, but I want to prevent others from making the same mistake we did. My friend and I ordered a small sausage pizza, and we were disappointed to find that the crust was undercooked and soggy. We hoped they would fix it, but they returned it to us the same way. The picture shows how it looked after they gave it back. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Have ordered from here several times now and each time hoped it would be better than before. I'm sad and frustrated to say that it hasn't. Their pizzas are small, have a funny sauce, and the toppings are not very appetizing. They have a very limited menu and don't offer some basic dishes eg. Ceasar salad. The eggplant parmesan dinner is outstanding and one of the best meals we've ever had. For $12, you get a large portion, a side dish, and bread. We simply reheated the leftovers from last night, and they warmed up perfectly. We'll definitely be returning. Thank you!

Excellent abizza pie, our favorite since Dominic's. Grew up on another local favorite pizzeria, and this is our favorite since about the last two years. Great people and staff.

there is a series of great pizzerias in the new haven area, this is a hidden gem. we like our pizza well made with a crispy crust and salty gets it right.
