The carne asada was well-seasoned, grilled perfectly, and served as a tender, flavorful cut of beef, sliced thinly as expected in this type of cuisine. The rice and beans that accompanied the tamales and carne asada were also quite tasty, particularly the beans. The tamales were well-prepared and interesting, though perhaps the least flavorful dish among what we ordered. They came with Salvadorean cheese and crema, adding to their appeal. Two standout elements of the meal really caught our attention: first, the sweet plantains were expertly cooked, reminiscent of typical Latin American style, but uniquely served with a frosting you'd expect on cinnamon rolls, making them more of a dessert t...

My wife and I love this place. I usually order the pupusas (chicharrón, fríjol, queso), along with the plátano frito. Curtido is traditionally served with pupusas, and normally I don 't care much for it, but I like the curtido they make here. Today was the first time I tried their horchata de arroz, which when I did, I was amazed at just how delicious theirs was, so I had to go back up to the counter to try a cup of their horchata salvadoreña (horchata de morro), which was just as delicious. Now, I wont be able to have one without the other. Their service has always been phenomenal as long as we 've been going there. More often than not Jailene is our hostess and waitress, and she is very pe...

I visited this restaurant for the first time, craving pupusas, and I was not disappointed. I ordered the loroco and cheese pupusa, a tamal de elote, and horchata. The pupusa was fresh and hot, with just the right amount of cheese that complemented the blossoms perfectly without overpowering them. I did feel that there wasn’t quite enough cortido and sauce, so I’ll be sure to ask for extra next time. The tamal de elote was different from what I'm used to, but it was still enjoyable. It was larger and had a cake-like texture instead of the soft, dense texture I expected. However, it still had a nice corn flavor without being too sweet. The horchata was okay, but a bit too heavy on the cinnamon...

Typically, a 5-star dining experience is expected to be more refined, unique, and costly than what you’d find in an average restaurant. For me, this place is more on the average side, but I had a 4-star experience. My meal was simply delicious. I ordered the ground steak, served with al dente onions on a plate alongside yellow (dried) rice, roasted beans*, a fresh green salad, homemade flour tortillas, and a small cup of very spicy red sauce, plus a green sauce. The food came out quickly, and the service was friendly. I would definitely recommend it. However, the beans seemed to come from a can, which is why I rated the food a 4-star. Overall, I give it a 5-star rating.

Wow, if you're visiting Wenatchee, this place is amazing! I don't say that often because I really know my pupusas and how they should be made, and they nailed it! Not only is the food incredibly delicious and authentically prepared, but the restaurant is also very clean. A clean bathroom is a good sign that the kitchen is clean too! The gentleman at the counter taking orders was very kind; he didn't charge us for a side of beans or the horchata for my daughter. Exceptional customer service and fantastic food!
