Last night was my second time visiting this restaurant. The first time was great. It was a birthday celebration. Last night was also a birthday celebration for an eight year old. We arrived at 6:30. First we were led to a table that was wet and no one noticed. We were sent given another table that got rained on. Not one staff member came to our aid. Perhaps offer us another table or even bring napkins/towels to wipe the seats. We specifically ordered a pizza right away for the children first way before ordering the adult's entrees. Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely, cozy family run restaurant! Not only are Vito and Anna, the Owners, hospitable they make every single patron feel like you came to their home for dinner! Everything we tasted melted in our mouths, not to mention the beautiful presentation. The service is unmatched and the staff truly cares about your experience. Ideal for those who want a romantic night out or enjoy an evening with friends. There is plenty of room for bigger groups, or to celebrate your Special Occasion. I recommend Salvatore’s of Elmont to everyone! I will be returning to try more of their classic Italian dishes!
Service is awful, waiter was at the table once all night. Garlic nots and little pizza bites are supposed to be served as appetizers and I had to ask for both. My pasta was never brought out and eventually I asked after I already finished my main meal. Water was also never served throughout the entirety of the dinner. The waiter was also seen picking nose right before bringing out the food. Male server mid 20’s with a beard is the worst service I have had in my life! Although the owner is a very awesome and generous women!
Got a chance to try this place and it was definitely amazing! Everything was fresh and great quality the chicken cutlets very thin and beautiful sauce was delicious potato croquettes and pizza and garlic knots were top notch and the panelle was amazing and hard to find a place that has this Sicilian dish and make it this great! definitely will be back here! Only down side waited about a hour and half to get food at the table but everyone was so nice and the owner was great will be back soon!

The food was amazing! However, we had to wait 3.5 hours to receive our appetizers, main course, and dessert. Out of the four desserts we ordered, only two were served, and one of them was quite stale. Getting milk for our coffee was surprisingly difficult and required the assistance of four different staff members. Despite the long wait, the appetizers and dinner were truly fantastic!
Our first time there and we were greeted at the door took us to our table didn't have to wait that long the food was excellent very friendly atmosphere I will be back again one bad thing one bathroom for everybody there and the only slight thing is I waitress was not friendly not to us but everybody else we hope we don't get her again the next time we go back
We had to get together here, and the service was excellent! The food was unbelievable! Excellent value so many choices! The staff is so attentive! It was decorated beautifully outside. I loved the entertainment. Wonderful, DJ, fun music. Beautiful tents nice and warm and spacious! Highly recommend will definitely be back.. thank you!!!
The food was excellent, and it's clear that this Italian restaurant is very popular, as there was a wait to be seated. However, on this occasion, there was significant disorganization, and we ended up waiting over two hours for our food to arrive. The waitstaff were friendly, but they seemed quite disorganized.

We traveled from Staten Island twice to dine at Salvatore's, and it was definitely worth the drive. The food was exceptional—everything was fresh and delicious. It felt just like home. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff was excellent. We will definitely be returning!
The Italian cuisine is deliciously wanting. Yum! I was there with 5 others and we enjoyed a wonderful night. The service is a little too slow but is made up in its atmosphere. There is continuous free wine with your dinner.
