My room was cramped and small, in the tiny shower hardly fits an adult with normal stature, and the floor in the bathroom was dirty all old and unsightly. There is hardly any room in the room for more than one suitcase or luggage. The only plus for me was the good breakfast. I think it's good to be a non-smoker that you put value on non-smoker, but unfortunately, since my wife was physically and mentally disabled whee...
The small, hidden restaurant at Hotel Bargenturm offers a fine kitchen. We enjoyed the New Year 2017 and were pleasantly surprised. Very fine creations that pampered the palate. The cook understands his craft. Also the service staff was quick, polite and constantly ready to pamper us as guests. It is forgiven that the device is a little old-fashioned. We can really recommend the restaurant and will certainly visit it again. You don't have to be a hotel guest there (we didn't have to).
Arrival: no parking space! The room stank intensively to the toilet, which didn't overwhelm the scented flower. The tube TV had the size of a din A4 sheet. Written complaints were ignored! No place to feel good, but to escape! Never, never again! the employees are very aware of the problems, but the owners do not react.
