While I acknowledge there may be a few spots among the roughly 100 pizzerias in the valley that can rival this place in some aspects, everyone has their personal preferences. However, when it comes to quality, this is the standout. Two of my family members are from Old Forge, I reside in New York, and during my childhood in Scranton, I could easily devour an entire tray of the classic NEPA pizzas. Last night, we gathered around the table to try the three styles I mentioned earlier and we couldn’t help but question how we’ve managed all these years without this amazing pizza. Samarios NEVER disappoints. Some of the best Italian in town in my opinion. Some Italian food in town can be a little bland and run of the mill but not samarios. It is packed with flavor! We have only ever gotten takeout and they have been rude but that doesn't defer me in this situation. Last night we got the penne vodka, meatballs, gnocchi, and a chicken parm. Everything was warm, well made, and delicious! I can't wait to get everything again. (Only reason for four stars is because service can be a little curt so I have to do sit down dining and see if that is the same)

I liked this restaurant. The service was great, prices are reasonable. The place is very clean and a nice atmosphere. I had wings that were very good and stuffed mushrooms and french fries that were also very good. My one complaint was of the food I actually went there for... Pizza. The crust was surprisingly spongy for an Old Forge style pizza... The bottom line is I wouldn't go here specifically for pizza but I will try other things from the menu in the future.

Samarios is simply outstanding! We've ordered from them several times, and each experience has surpassed the last. Their pizza is fantastic, the meatballs are delicious, and the cheesesteaks are amazing. The wings are, without a doubt, the best I’ve had in the area. I just ordered this salad and yes I understand the mozzarella is expensive but for $12.00 this was a rip off. The man that I spoke to on the phone was rude and didnt even ask to see why I was complaining. I will never again give Samarios my business and will be making sure my friends do the same. #takeacustomerservicemoreserious #sadsalad #itazerostarforme

Wow! Top of the line flavor right here. Had it for my first time a small round pepperoni and boneless bites hot garlic. I'm blown away, this food is amazing. I hope the rest of the food is just as good!! Looking forward to being a steady weekly customer!!!

I have to say we tried a variety of dishes. I wasn't a big fan of the stuffed mushrooms, but the pizza was probably the best I've had in the area. Everything else we ordered was also delicious.

These crazy cheesesteaks holy cow they're good. Chicago style pizza is solid for NEPA, but dang those cheesesteaks with the weird names are ridiculously good. I will return frequently. Reserva una mesa ahora

kind of rude on the phone, and the buffalo chicken pizza was absolutely DISGUSTING! definitely do not recommend

The hype is real- got a traditional Old Forge cut and a double crust pie: both very good.
