We dined at Sambuca 2 on Sunday, October 13th in the afternoon during their specials. There were 2 adults and 2 children in our party, and all four of us agreed that the experience was unfavorable. The food was tasteless, cold, and greasy, and the restaurant appeared dirty with flies. We had visited the other Sambuca location a few years ago and had a lovely experience, but unfortunately, it was fully booked on this occasion. Popped in here for tea .basically you get what you pay for , went for 3 course special potato skins ok , my partner had marinara pasta which she said was ok, i had lucifera pizza which was very bland .our son had chicken pizza which was not on specials and looked much better than the pizza i had , but as i said you get what you pay for .
We stopped here for late lunch as we'd just finished the C2C cycle. So glad we did. Felt authentic, meals plentiful, fresh tasting, no complaints at all. I'm not a fan of Italian food but wowed into submission now. Value good, food good, that'll do for me.
My partner and I recently dined at Sambuca 2 and were extremely satisfied with both the food and the service. I dare anyone to find a restaurant that offers such high-quality dishes at such affordable prices. We will definitely be coming back.

The place was full of life when we arrived at about 9pm on a recent Friday night. Service was quick and friendly and the menu extensive. The food was fine, nothing special but absolutely fine and reasonably priced.
Sambucas is a very nice family friendly restaurant. Nice bowl of soup on a freezing cold day. Followed by pizza and coffee £4.95. My husband was disappointed with his Lasagne,too much pasta not enough meat.
Went here today for lunch it’s a really tiny restaurant. Had lunch special of potato skins and pizza and coffee which was £4.95 good value for money but the food was nothing to get excited about
Called in for a late lunch and we were not disappointed. Lovely food in a very cosy atmosphere. The staff were very attentive and we felt overall that it was very good value for money.

Popped in on spec for a quick lunch. We were not disappointed. Good food and service for 3.95. Made a nice change from fish and chips. Can't comment on evening menu/service.
A good decent place to go for a very cheap family meal. Great food. Amazing chocolate brownie with ice cream.
