Went here yesterday and have to say the food was absolutely disgusting, raw soggy pizza, asked for a spoon for my son and got handed a dirty spoon, attitude on waitress disgusting, other waiter handing us drinks with dirty black hands and scruffy finger nails so we had to wipe glasses down, that night ended up crippled in agony with a sore stomach and now have food poisoning vomiting, flies and miggies everywhere, and even had to go to the table ourselves cause nobody escorted us. This restaurant serves the worst steak I have ever had. The service was good, but it felt like they couldn't wait to get us out the door. We ordered the Tuesday night special, which included garlic mushrooms that seemed to be microwaved but were still tasty. However, the steak with mushroom sauce and overcooked hand-cut chips were terrible. The steak was undercooked, full of fat and gristle. To make matters worse, the table was surrounded by flies, which made the meal even more unpleasant. The staff were polite but seemed eager to rush us out. It's a shame because the pasta dishes looked to be good quality and a good portion size. Oh well.
This restaurant seems to be where good food and customer service goes to die! I went for Sunday dinner and noticed that the price had gone up, but the quality and quantity had gone down. It's disappointing to pay £10 for just 3 thin slices of meat cooked who knows where, with no description of the accompaniments. It's a letdown, especially during a time of rising living costs when people want to enjoy spending their money. It appears that this restaurant no longer prioritizes serving delicious, affordable food.
My family and I decided to go out for Sunday lunch. My sister ordered a beef dinner and said it was lovely. Sadly, there was no vegetarian option. The three course pasta/pizza meal offer is not available on a Sunday, so I ordered pasta from the main menu, which I’m fairness was really good. The restaurant has a comfortable atmosphere and the staff seemed friendly. Overall It’s a place I would recommend!

I placed an ordered yesterday for a takeaway to collect. The service I received was amazing. I arrived approx 10/15 minutes later to collect and it was ready (with a smile and good humour). The staff here are brilliant, the service, first class! The food always served, hot and delicious. Thank you to all the staff!
We went along for the steak night , we have been at other times but not steak night. The meal was excellent and the courses were Garlic Mushrooms , Steak with Diane sauce and vegetables then tiramisu . The food was excellent and good value and the staff were as always very pleasant
A family member recommended this place and said that the Sunday lunch was far better than one would expect for the price. It certainly was. Most places charge almost twice as much for only slightly better. Good service and nice presentation.
Sambucca has been in business for a significant amount of time and their special menu offers great value. I personally have had no complaints, despite seeing some negative reviews. My visits have always been impressive.
