I visited this restaurant on Saturday, March 14th. I had mixed feelings about the food quality and portion sizes after reading some reviews, but for us, the portion sizes were more than enough. The quality of the soup, starters, and main courses was excellent. While the prices may seem high compared to takeout options, it is worth considering other factors. For example, the competition for Far Eastern food includes a pot noodle rack at the Spar shop in Terminal 1, although I cannot confirm the quality or cost. My friend and I have dined at this restaurant a few times and have always enjoyed the tasty food! During our latest visit, we tried the Sampans Set menu and I highly recommend it. The restaurant has a stylish look and the chairs are comfortable. The atmosphere was relaxed and despite some other patrons, it wasn't too noisy and we were able to have our own conversation. The staff was excellent, particularly our main server (I believe his name was Edward), who was very friendly and funny! Thank you for everything, we will definitely be returning.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. You really should try it, the staff are warm and accommodating, the food excellent. Having spent time in Asia this is a great reflection of authentic food. The portions are perfect in size and extremely tasty. I saw how busy...the bars were that were serving burgers and fries, very sad for a place like this who are really trying to serve great food, but somehow weren’t at all busy; try this you really won’t be disappointed.

This is an oriental restaraunt in the crowne plaza hotel manchester airport. The portion sizes are small but the quality is very good. Flavours are correct and the service is good. Good night before the flight, service was very good, food was good but not great, price point was high but I suppose your a captive audience ? Would I go back no, did they do anything wrong no, prices seem a little high as well.... Overall a pleasant stay and dinner. Hi

We come here quite a lot before we go on holiday , and the food is absolutely amazing. The staff are efficient and friendly with a good banter. Once you have been here it will be one of your favorites... The stuff can't do an...offer for you and the chef is tremendous.

We’ve eaten here several times now and the food is first class. We hadn’t booked in advance but they accommodated us and the waiter we had was very good and very funny. Although a bit pricey it was convenient and we would definitely eat here...again.

I myself and partner stay in the hilton next door, but after reading the reviews decided to pay sampans a visit. we were not disappointed at all. the service fast and eating was top class. Very good.

Went to this restaurant as part of our package at the hotel. The staff were fantastic and really friendly. We both enjoyed our meals and would certainly eat here again.
