Sam's Grill - Reserva de mesa

This was my first visit to Sam's Grill in Guelph and I was very impressed. The service was excellent, with friendly, polite, and helpful staff. The food was delicious and we ordered the combo #2 (hotdog and poutine) and combo #4 (burger and poutine) for takeout. The hotdog was great, but the burger was even better. My only complaint was that the poutine could have been made with fresh fries like they do at the Cambridge location. The restaurant itself was clean and well maintained. I will definitely be returning, and next time I will request fresh fries for my poutine.

As for the donair itself, it was overwhelmed with spices, and the sweet sauce didn’t help at all; it just didn’t work. There was hardly any lettuce, just a bit of onion, and I’ve never had a donair this spicy before. I’ve tried donairs all over the world, and this one was by far the worst. I would give it a rating of 1, but if I could rate it lower, I would give it -2. I did receive a response from the restaurant asking me to contact them, but that was all. What a disappointment.

Sam's Grill offers a variety of favorite dishes at affordable prices. I ordered the Montreal Smoked meat sandwich with mustard and found it to be full of flavor with the meat practically spilling out. The Combo 4, which includes a double patty burger with cheese, poutine, and a drink, is a great deal. I recently had lunch at this restaurant and it was fantastic! I ordered a regular-sized sauteed poutine and a regular burger with bacon and cheese. While it was a bit more expensive than typical fast food options, the portion sizes were generous and I couldn't finish my meal on my lunch break. The value for the amount of food you get is great here. I will definitely be returning!

First time at Sam’s!! Place is clean: Service was great good luck with the baby..you are very friendly and was nice that you took time to come see us at our table to discuss food Prices are fair…these days!! Fries delicious Burgers tasty HOWEVER take out the processed cheese and use real cheese…trust me it will make a world of difference!! Sincerely, Burger Queen

I visited for the first time after being tempted by some mouthwatering pictures of poutine topped with real cheese curds, but I was quite disappointed to find that our dish didn't include any cheese curds. The double patty burgers were excellent and reasonably priced, but I really have to ask—why doesn’t your poutine come with cheese curds?

Ordered the bacon poutine and mango Milkshake ….both 10/10. The bacon pieces were real and huge. The curds and gravy delicious. Ordered the small and it was an excellent, filling portion. The mango milkshake was fabulous! Not artificial tasting at all. Will be back!!! Reserva una mesa ahora

First time here and they messed up my order. The owner of the restaurant immediately took ownership of the problem and apologized. He fixed the problem quickly. The chicken burger and milkshake were both delicious. Staff and owner were very friendly

Thank you Sam for a wonderful, Home-made burger. Very friendly, very clean and pretty speedy considering it was a Home-made patty. We will be back.
