Sam's In Virg - Reservar una mesa

I wanted to try this restaurant because of the great reviews but it seems their customer service is lacking. My waitress failed to notify us about our entrees. From what she shouted, it seems the kitchen was backed up over an hour. "Tickets averaged an hour she shouted. "She never notified us about that situation. We waited over 30min until I got up and notified another waitress. Our waitress got defensive and shouted at me about ticket time. Seemed unnecessary since all she had to do is let us know instead of never coming back. Average wait time for entrees is 60 minutes plus I guess.

Had supper the other night, first time at this restaurant, it was recommended by friends, the waitress was friendly and helpful, I asked her about fresh local shrimp (which is in season now) she replied they didn’t have fresh local shrimp, I asked about fresh local fish, she replied they didn’t have any, apparently they have frozen fish and shrimp shipped in, I was very disappointed and when I reported to my friends our experience they thought the restaurant had been sold as they used to have fresh seafood there. So they said they would not be going back there.

It's an awesome little place with amazing food. My only complaint was those fabulous Oysters Rockefeller had little shell pieces in every single one. That's the second time that's happened and I'm so disappointed because they're so delicious. Wish they could keep the shells out and they'd be getting top scores across the board!

Always a treat when go. Wings the Big Sams Way are amazing. Long wait time but it's worth it.

Great value at happy hour for fresh shrimp and oysters. Service is friendly and attentive.
