I won't be back here! I was in town for a baby shower and craved some Hibachi but was grossly disappointed. The server lacked the normal enthusiasm that I'm use to receiving at the Japanese steakhouse. The Cook seemed to be pre occupied with guest at another table. He seemed annoyed that we were all he had, even though our table was full. The Drinks were ok...the sushi was good, but the soup taste like it would have been sink water, the salad was...uum...I guess just salad.. but the ginger dressing...well...it WASN'T. The server stood over the hot cooking surface and handed us our water and soup and salad. That was weird, because all she had to do was walk around the table and place our item...
Please be patient with the staff. They are short but it is worth the wait. I've loved Samuri since it opened. A favorite for my friends and I when I was in high school. It's still yummy today. They have the best yum yum sauce and ginger in the city, if you ask me. I got hibachi, double rice of course, with shrimp and scallops. I never add extra garlic butter, but if that's your wish, they will add to your hearts desire. They also have some really great sushi. I didn't indulge this time though.
This is my first time and last time coming here. The cook took forever to arrive to our table and the food wasn't good. The first starter was soup and it tasted like water, not broth. The salad, if you order an entree, was very watery and wasn't that pleasant to enjoy. I ordered fried rice with teriyaki chicken and it was okay but not something I would get again.
So showed up here at 9:30 and they close at 10....when we walked in they refused to seat us. Saying they're closed, even after I pointed out their hours were till 10pm. They just states they're closed. What a joke. Never again will this place get any business from me or any of my family and friends. Horrible customer service

They say they close at 230 but we were there before 2 and they would not seat us. Told us we had to order to go or come back at 430. This info should have been on their website because we traveled a whole to get here.
the food here was ok, the receptionist gave me and my friends a happy ending after they closed. so i would recommend that you don't take your significant other or those services aren't offered.
Staff was welcoming and very attentive to our cook table. The cook was fun and put on memorable presentation. Food was good not great, we got the NY Strip steak and chicken. We'll go back!
The food was really good, we really enjoyed the chef he was very entertaining. The drinks and sushi was on point for sure. Really enjoyed myself I will be coming back for sure

Good FOOD Fast Service! I ORDER LUNCH from this Restaurant a lot as well! When I sit in the Environment is Nice as well! : The Staff is Nice Courteous!
Great service! Went during lunch for cheaper prices and smaller crowd. Definitely recommend!
