As someone who has experience in customer service, I find it quite simple to deliver good service; however, SAMURAI in Croton Hudson, NY seems to struggle with this concept. I visit for lunch occasionally, and the young hostess at the front door lacks basic social skills. She doesn’t greet guests with a simple “Hi, how are you?” or a “Thank you for coming.” Instead, she spends most of her time glued to her phone, seemingly unaware that there's a world beyond her screen. When she does look up, her demeanor is often ditzy or rude, and she gives off vibes that come across as racially insensitive, making it seem like she doesn’t know how to interact with people from different cultures.
