The Korean place we were actually intending to go to turned out to be on the other side Huntingdale Road about 10 minutes drive away. Seeing that we’ve already parked the car and were famished, we settled for lunch here instead.<br/ <br/ It was one of those days where hunger turned into gluttony, causing my brains to fry from trying to make a decision. It didn’t help matters when my partner pointed out to my all-time favourite Creamy Garlic Prawns Kimchi Fried Rice on the menu! Aargh!<br/ <br/ With my partner all geared up to order and our waitress already coming around twice to check on us, I pulled myself together and focused on choosing an entrée first. This small Korean joint has been my boyfriend and my go-to Korean dishes place for years. They recently reopened after a long hiatus and the food is just as good as before, if not better. The new decor is also lovely! You can't go with almost all of the dishes on the menu, but I always find myself ordering the spicy BBQ pork. The Japanese style dishes, such as the unagi eel donburi are also absolutely delicious. Staff here are always pleasant and happy to get you extra side dishes or tea. Hopefully this place never changes because I've been here at least 30x and still am not tired of it
We had a great experience at this Korean restaurant with affordable prices and large portions. We shared the rice cake and kimchi pancake, with the rice cake being a bit on the sweeter side but delicious. It wasn't too spicy either. The cheese kimchi bibimbap was a standout dish, feeding two people and filled with generous amounts of cheese. The galbi beef stew was also excellent, with tender beef that easily fell off the rib. Overall, we had a fantastic meal.

Great pork back bone soup and other home style soups like galbitang, soondubu, samgyetang. L.A galbi is also yum. Friendly service and fast, I really like how they have iced water or hot tea ready too. Nice clean family restaurant and they always have the latest K-pop videos playing.
