San Carlos Grill - Reserva de mesa

Surprisingly wonderful surf turf menu and well stocked bar. The name building façade does not match the quality of the food or service for that matter. The large sea scallop dish is simply divine! I'm reluctantly pulling a star from the rating due to noise level. The owners really need to consult a sound expert and use best practices and guidance. Wall decor isn't cutting out the reverberating noise from plates clattering, loud dual TVs, and people being a noisier versions of themselves. Think Jr High gymnasium minus squeaking gym shoes.

I should have taken a photo of the seasonal item I ordered, the Dungeness crab quesadilla, but I couldn't wait and dug right in. It was absolutely delicious. The tortilla chips were fresh, and the housemade salsas were flavorful. They also had a full salsa bar with additional fixings and crema. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was inviting. To top it off, the house Margarita was the perfect end to the meal. I highly recommend this local favorite.

It looks like a family-owned establishment. I really enjoyed this restaurant. I sat at the bar and enjoyed some beer and food while waiting for my colleagues to arrive. It was a Thursday evening, but not too crowded. The ceviche, tacos, and nachos were all delicious. I will definitely return.

Brought a large group of work colleagues here on a Tuesday night and the sole bartender rocked! He kept up with all our orders and made fantastic cocktails.
