San Jose Mexican Restaurant

Really good food in served fast but the buildings almost easy to miss because it behind another building. I got the Enchilada Supremas, $9.45 and posted a photo. Chips and salsa come with all meals. I found out this is one of over 12 local family owned San Jose Mexican Restaurants in the area. The family member start as a waiter if they want to work their way up to mangement. I met one of them.

I haven’t been as impressed with San Jose over the years as I used to be but decided to give it another shot today—and I’m glad I did. The food was surprisingly great and it wasn’t very busy on a Saturday at noon. The cheese did was HUGE and the table side guacamole was fresh and delicious! I was also happy to see that their lunch specials run Monday through Saturday.

This place is a hidden gem . The exterior is nicely decorated yet unassuming. Once inside you realize the owner has put the money where it matters. Great decor with many details to appreciate. The food is amazing. They offer many original and exciting food pairings as well as traditional favorites. BOTTOM LINE: You want good Mexican food, this is the place.

Very good food. Nice atmosphere, adjacent but separate Cantina. The salsa is thick fresh and flavorful, chips were warm and crispy and not oversalted. The main course I had the Spinach sauce Chicken which was delicious and the sauce, while savory did not taste or feel heavy. Reserva una mesa ahora

I hadn’t been to San Jose in years and we went with family while visiting for the weekend. The food and service were great, as well as the margaritas. Give this spot a try if you’re in the area or on your way up/down I-95; you won’t be disappointed.

Great Mexican place with easy access to I95. Had the chicken quesadilla (half) plenty of chicken and a taco salad.

Food was good. Drinks were great. Waitress was attentive and we really enjoyed our night out.
