Located in the beautiful city center of St. Gallen, this Italian restaurant is highly recommended. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We felt comfortable, although some of the music took some getting used to (not Italian). The ambience could have been better. The bread basket beforehand was nice, but it was missing some oil. The bread/rolls seemed a bit dry. But they tasted good. The lasagne dish was a great portion and also very tasty. It was nice that Parmesan was also served. The asparagus was also very tasty, only the potatoes were missing, which we could have ordered additionally. But we only noticed this when the plate came and the potatoes weren't on it. All in all, a delicious...
Quite a classy Italian, warm restaurant with very nice decor, comfortable surrounding, and a nice ambience. The menu prices are reasonable although not cheap eats but can you expect that in Switzerland. They do have English menus and the staff are very friendly and professional. The kitchen is right open on the side of the restaurant which provides quite easy access and quick delivery of your meals. The restaurant is just off the side street from the main thorough fare. Food is delicious at San Lorenzo. The wonderful waiter brought us (without prompting beautiful after dinner coffee Liqueur) which was so thoughtful and delightful.
A service team that is well adapted to the Lunchrush at a sunny summerday. Pizze are thincrust, tasty and on the larger side (normal) with smaller seize option available. Standard SOP is to serve a complimentary small dessert, espresso including digestif which is laudable.
I love the pizza here and the staff are great as well especially at being attentative to the children. It is a pizza place and is what you expect but despite my mates telling me that La Taverna pizza is the best I don't think...it is a patch on the San Lorenzo Pizza.

Last time we were there the pizza was horrible. Too bad, because it used to be good! I think the management or something changed some time ago. The pizza dough and crust are not tasty anymore and way too thin, the ingredients almost inexistent.
eat good Be careful, people are constantly trying to cheat on the bill. We tried to charge for a Coke at the next table without even having one. The same thing 10 minutes later for us too. Sad!
Amazing italian restaurant! The quality is high, and the prices match it! The vibe is welcoming, and the service is friendly. Would highly recommend it, and intend to go back
The atmosphere is almost completely pleasant despite the restaurant. Service and choice really good. I mentioned that the food was excellent.

Delicious food and great service. Beautiful old town all around. Clean premises, and the waiter spoke a little Finnish.
