San Luis Rey Bakery

I was recommended this place from a colleague at work and it could not have turned out any better. I walked in for an early dinner around 4:30 PM and was greeted promptly by one of the staff. Being so early in the day there were only three or four other couples in the restaurant. The quiet atmosphere, and the music was perfect. As soon as you walk in there is a festive environment with many treats on display in the bakery section. My meal, Chile relleno, was exquisite. I don’t frequently have the opportunity to eat traditional Mexican food, but this place brought my desire to perfection! Thank you once again for bringing me a wonderful evening of culinary excellance. highly recommended!

The best Huevos rancheros. Nice big eggs cooked to perfection and the sauce was excellent. Rice was great as were the beans. The bakery goods we purchased were great.Discosure: The food here was truly great but if it wasn't I would just say nothing. People who live perfect lives and leave one star comments to hard working people who have bills to pay really need to look in the mirror. Being mean and hateful will get you nowhere. Spoken as a proud Democrat.
