San Pietro Windermere

We had a table booked for 17/4/2024 as we were up in Windermere for our mini-moon and also my new wife Nicola's birthday. We really liked the look and feel of the place as soon as we walked in. The staff were really nice, we never got the name of the lad who who looked after us but he did a great job. The food was outstanding, for starters we had garlic prawns and Parmesan balls, both were absolutely delicious. Main courses were 2 x fillet steaks, cooked perfect. Finally desert was limoncello cheesecake. San Pietro is definitely one of the best Itlaian restaurants we ever been to, we'll definitely call again next time we're in Windermere.

we have just taken san pietro 2 nights in operation and had a fantastic experience at both locations. the location is beautiful, like all the employees and eating was excellent. I can recommend to start muscles and cheese and tomato garlic brot. the sea bass was super like the calzon’e pizza. we were very short-term, which was a blessing. the restaurant was immaculate and a credit to all employees. thanks to ramona, who was really happy and good with wine recommendation. a great thank you for coming back!

Visited San Pietro on holiday and it was magnificent. The staff were incredibly attentive and overly kind which I have no problem with. San Pietro offers a wide range of authentic Italian dishes and a plethora of amazing wines. My pizza was great and the rest of my table thoroughly enjoyed their food. The decor was homely and the atmosphere was calming. Overall I would definitely recommend San Pietro to anyone looking for authenticity and just good food. Oh man, what yummy Italian food! We didnt book a table, but the staff were fun and attentive so we got in and had a good crack on with them. The menu was lush and the food even better. It was nice and warm out, which added to the clean and nature filled aesthetic they had gone for. Honestly felt like we were in a restaurant in Italy by a lake. It was really wonderful.

Fantastic Restaurant, from the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was to die for and the atmosphere was lovely. The best dining experience we have had for a long time. Well done to all the team working last night as you were tremendous!
