Sancerre - Reservar una mesa

we came over a recommendation from a family member in this restaurant and were shocked by the lack of respect from one of the waiters who asked us at least four times whether we had booked the right restaurant, we announced...not in the position to afford it, although booked through the website and our names on the list. not only that, but this same waiter stood in front of our table for the entire meal, also as the restaurant filled so that the experience both unpleasant and imperishable. together we were a group of four young women who were fed into similar caliber institutions in london, and we were appalled by the blatant employment problem that was adopted based on our age and look (we had visited us paris for the day and were dressed in smart pants and hiking shoes similar to the other customers dressed.) it was a shame that the beautiful eating was abandoned by from other investigations it can be seen that this service level is not often experienced, so that the fact that we were exposed to such a lack of care was even more shocking, altogether, despite the food itself would not recommend the clear disregard of the personal.

This is my second time, and the first was by chance. Just biked around in the dusk hours after meetings, and stumbled on the old couple. He's 77 years old, and makes a fantastic omelette, the selection of cured meats and cheese is good and...he always has a nice light Sancerre to pair. It's a romantic place, and the second time around, I'm alone again. Wish I had the family and my wife with me. However, I'm slightly saddened that he will retire but the place will be left the same in different hands. Looking forward to my next return but will miss the old couple.

It is rare this days to find a restaurant with simple elegance,charming and great food. When you enter you are welcome like you belong here and been coming for ever.The service is like a ballet, everything arrive to your table as you expect, perfectly timed....The food is beyond expectation perfectly season, fresh and so delicious .Upon leaving we made a reservation for tomorrow lunch.

Go here for a simple lunch--an omelette with mushrooms (cepes when in season), a green salad, and a cool refreshing bottle (or carafe) of sancerre wine (plus others). Formerly a Parisian wine distributor. Simple menu compliments the wine. Limited outdoor seating.

Serendipity led me to Sancerre. Not exactly as it was across the street from a pharmacy. I had a simple lunch the omelette with a green salad and a light red wine. With few ingredients this was quite outstanding. Friendly service as well and not...overpriced.
