Policy and server earned a poor rating. Texted for 5pm res. Response was only 7:30 8pm available. Might get a table (for 4 walk in if weather was nice. (outdoor by the trash dumpsters in the parking lot. Decided to try an early bird at 4:40p. Rain was threatening. Seated indoors immediately but informed we had to be out by 6:30. I suggested that would be decided by the speed of service. Lights were out in the back. Asked server if they could be turned on like the ones in the photo of the front section. Was told people just use a flashlight in their phone. The switches were on the wall above the end of our table. About 1/2 hr later a hostess came back and turned the lights on for other patron...
I'm from ontario. if they told me I had to travel 4000 kilometers to eat authentic Mexican food, I would assume that they would talk about eating in mexiko. perhaps the last place I would expect to have an excellent Mexican meal in whitehorse. I was pleasantly surprised by my visit to sanchez cantina. I visited a friend and they suggested this restaurant. I ordered the highest degree of heat for my dish and it was infertile. often when they eat sharply, they try to make it hot. in sanchez cantina I have the heat and taste. that was one of the best Mexican meals I had eaten in my life, and I was in mexiko. the staff was exceptionally friendly and they even left us too late.
the best Mexican food north of british columbia! this authentic Mexican place is characterized by traditional oriented and home specialities (very hard to find in this wide. what I admired most is the love for the best experience: beautiful decoration and atmosphere, maximum sanitary measures (the best washroom in white horses! and first class customer service! many thanks for an excellent evening!
service was very good, fresh eating too very cheap trips. I had the “Gringa” with steak and the enchiladas with chicken sauces were full of taste and the food was very delicious. a “must try” when they come to whitehorse for a visit. I have dessert from the restaurant tonight, I have tried the flan that was very good. it wasn't too sweet just perfect. Reserva una mesa ahora
if they are looking for an authentic Mexican cuisine, this is the place! the personal was friendly and helpful. eating was more pleasant on the terrace. a sperling tried to get our nachos. their parts were not generous, but only enough to feel. they have written specials on the whiteboard, so make sure they check it. they do not take amex.
