Sandbay Bar, Cafe, And Restaurant

Arrived in sandbay yesterday afternoon and decided to take a walk along the beach to see if we could find the chip shop we had been told about, we had a lovely walk and found the chip shop but it had just closed, as we...went to walk away the owner came out and said that he had just closed but we were welcome to come in and choose what we would like, we chose our food and sat outside in the open dining area, the food was great and we were so grateful, I was even allowed to use the facilities even though they were waiting to go home, honestly the nicest kindest people we have met for a long time, we will definitely be going back. Great food and great service, Thankyou

Called for fish and chips for lunch for the family. The place was very clean looking and the service very good. However I am disappointed to say the food was not good. The chips were so undercooked, they were horrid. We wore have taken them...back but had driven away buy the time we found out. Maybe we're unlucky.

Nice clean place, nice couple, food was nice, I had fish and chips, pot of mushy peas and a pint of Guinness, it said fish and chips on the board outside but then I realised that was to take away, nice atmosphere and...a pleasant couple, even if a little expensive

We went here a couple of times in July While we stayed up the road Lovely cafe/bar bar prices for drinks good prices We had chips at the shop lovely A place not to be missed we be back for sure

A small cafe, but the the fish and chips are very good, with a choice of beer. Parking available outside.
