Sanders Chocolate Ice Cream Shoppe Wyandotte

If you are over 60 and remember Sanders Ice cream and lunch counter, don't get excited, you will be disappointed. The service was good, and the Cream puff was tasty, but the plastic spoon could not saw through the puff pastry. The atmosphere? nothing. Candy selection was next to nothing. Lots of Hot fudge for sale, just like at Kroger. I can understand though, people don't mind their children, and most people don't believe stealing is wrong. So... if you're looking for an old fashion Sanders Ice cream and candy counter store, keep looking.

I want to give a HUGE shout out to the (owner manager) last night 6 2 2022!!! My husband and I were in a mad dash to make it to the store on time to purchase a Bumpy Cake for my Father-in-law's Birthday when of course, we were stopped by a train!! Ugh, so we called and when I explained to the owner we were in route, but would be arriving just a few moments after closing, he told us not to worry and that he would wait for us!! He saved the day for our Birthday Boy!!! Thank you!!!

The bumpy cake sundae is insanely good, Service is A+ and the place is spotless. They also sell cakes, fudge, and delicious candies! Must visit this historical spot if your going to wyandotte.

This place is never open. Closes early, isn’t open half of the days of the week which makes it difficult to ever even get the opportunity to get ice cream.

Nice, friendly staff. Stopped by to get a Caramel Bumpy Cake. The cake was very good.
