Sandown Park Hotel

During my last visit to Sandown Park Hotel, I was pleased to discover that they now offer regular size meals rather than just senior size ones. Additionally, they offer a 20% discount if you present your senior card. It's worth noting that people don't choose senior meals solely because they are cheaper, but also because they are typically smaller portions. I do hope they consider bringing back the option for smaller senior meals in the future.

The staff at this restaurant was unhelpful and unfriendly. They refused to provide a physical menu for me to take to my elderly family members, insisting that we take photos and make calls instead. The meals took a long time to arrive and when they did, the meat was so tough that it was practically inedible - a rubber toy would have been easier to chew. It's clear that this establishment does not cater to older diners. I will not be returning.

The place was really relaxing most meals were nice, but my husband ordered the seafood it was terrible. He pushed the fish aside, he said it didn't taste right. The other seafood was only frozen. We told our waitress that my husband wasn't interested in his meal, she just said, "Sorry" No offer. Very disappointing 17/1/2023

The experience at this restaurant was not good. There was a bug in my food, the chicken was dry, the chips were also unpleasant, and the service was slow with half of our table still waiting for our meals while the other half had already finished eating. It was quite disappointing.

Ordered fish chips $20) not cheap! Surprisingly, the meal was served within 3 minutes. It looked and tasted like someone's cancelled order. Fish, no flavour and chips just as bad. Left it on the table and walked out never to return. By the way,...no more Seniors Meals.
