I truly love this restaurant; it's one of my favorite places in town. The owners are extremely friendly, and I'm especially fond of their pastries, especially the lemon bar. The coffee is top-notch, and the ambiance is very inviting. I often come here to work, but sometimes I bring a friend so we can enjoy coffee and breakfast together. I appreciate that there’s a shaded area where I can work quietly and easily plug in my laptop. After a brisk walk along the beach, we were looking for a cozy place to grab some coffee and a pastry, and that's when we discovered the Sandpiper. It turned out to be an excellent choice! I had a mocha latte, while my companion opted for a hot chocolate. We also decided to share a cinnamon crunch muffin based on our server's suggestion, and it was perfect! We're definitely thinking about returning for breakfast next time, as the food we saw looked incredible. The staff was also fantastic!

This is a great spot for breakfast, conveniently situated right off the Pinellas Trail. It offers a wonderful selection of breakfast choices and has bike parking available. The staff is always friendly, and the food is excellent, with ample portion sizes. The restaurant can get quite busy, but thanks to the indoor and outdoor seating options, we usually have no trouble finding a table. We especially liked dining on the front porch rather than indoors.
Not sure where the good reviews are coming from. SO underwhelming. Got a Benedict and avocado toast. Avocado tasted old. Everything is so bland and potatoes were not seasoned, just awful. No flavor on anything. We were excited for the Belgium Waffle and they said they turned off their waffle maker so they can’t serve it ?! It wasn’t broken, they turned it off… what?! Horrible service
I had my first visit to this restaurant today, and I can say with certainty that it won't be my last! The latte and quesadilla were both fantastic, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the outdoor seating is perfect for people-watching. Additionally, it's dog-friendly!
Staff was friendly and the omelet very tasty! The potatoes could use a bit more seasoning but other than that would certainly come back for brunch. The outdoor seating area was open and welcoming and a great place to enjoy a Sunday!

Very dog friendly and a water bowl was issued quickly for my pup. I enjoyed a delicious egg/cheese croissant and mimosa in which were delightfully well priced. Friendly and attentive service. We really enjoyed and will be back!
It was wonderful to sit on the front porch. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. There is plenty of parking available across the street or at a public garage just a block away.
