Sands Chinese Jīn Shā Zhōng Cān Guǎn

It is in Irwindale and somewhat far from central LA but this is one of the few restaurants serving duck stuffed with 8 precious ingredients and sticky glutinous rice. The trip was worth it. A rare treat from the past. This dish was only served at banquetson festive occasions and the recipe ???? has long been missing. You have to order this at least 2 days in advance. Other greatdishes in the same category included the steam shrimp paste over black mushrooms and steam layered tofu. There are regular chowmein, chow fun and rice dishes at reasonable prices. Bo Bo, our server, provided excellent customer service. Compliments to thechef for a meal well done.

This is my second time eating here and the first time was over 3 months ago. Frist off they are so clean if you come nice and spiffy you will still feel like you don?t belong ???? But all jokes aside this is not Chinese fast food it is Chinese gourmet inmy opinion. Most importantly the whole place just runs like a well oiled machine. I?m so happy I?m local to this restaurant anddon?t take my word for it COME HERE you will thank me later !

Been here twice in the last 2 weeks and plan to make it a stop, every time I hit Irwindale. The Singapore-style chow fun tastes like what I've had rom late-night noodle carts in Guangzhou. Very flavorful, and warmly spiced. The egg rolls are fresh, hot, and crisp. Very friendly, pleasant staff, as well. Prices are quite reasonable, for the good food quality.

This is a Chinese restaurant that does not taste like most in the area. They handle the meat and vegetables differently. You can taste what the ingredients should taste like. They serve with the integrity that they wish you enjoy your meal there. I can no longer enjoy a meal from other Chinese restaurants as much. Reserva una mesa ahora

Got the spicy honey chicken lunch special with the egg drop soup and it honestly exceeded expectations. It was very good and the woman working the register was very friendly. Overall I had a very good experience!

Came here with a coworker. The food and service was great. It's a small restaurant with only a free tables for dining in. There is plenty of free parking either in front of the store or at the back.
