My husband and I went here for the first time, to celebrate my birthday. We were quite excited to try a different place. The ambiance was nice. It was very quiet the entire time, only us and 2 other tables. Our server (Sterling I think her name was) was ok. Told her it was our first time there, but never mentioned my birthday, (although I had added that in my reservation notes). No mention was ever made of my birthday, which was disappointing. We went to this restaurant for our anniversary dinner. Our server, Montana, greeted us and congratulated us on our anniversary. She was very friendly, and answered all our questions, including her recommendations for dessert. My wife and I had a short friendly conversation after dinner and she made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. The food portion was more than enough. My wife found her penne with sausages just right in both portion and the savouriness of the sauce. My husband and I came to Niagara Falls to celebrate our one-year anniversary, and I chose this restaurant based on reviews I had read on Pinterest. It turned out to be a terrible idea. I had been looking forward to a romantic dinner with my husband, but unfortunately, the salad was so heavily dressed that it was practically swimming in it. What’s worse, as I reached the bottom of the salad, I discovered a dead fly, most likely a result of all the excess dressing. Being four months pregnant, I was extremely nauseated by this sight on my plate. I recently visited this restaurant and was impressed by its cozy atmosphere. It is an ideal spot for a peaceful dinner or a small gathering with friends. The service was excellent, and our server was friendly. I ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu while my partner had the Braised Lamb Shank. The Cordon Bleu was juicy and tender, not at all dry or salty, which was a pleasant surprise. It definitely exceeded my expectations and I give it two thumbs up! The restaurant had a lovely ambiance, excellent service, and delicious food. While it was a bit expensive, I believe it was worth the cost. I ordered the lasagna which was very cheesy, and my boyfriend tried the fish and chips, which he said were one of the best he's ever had. I couldn't resist ordering the lava cake for dessert, which was only $8 and absolutely delicious. It was a very relaxing and romantic date night. Our server, Montana, was fantastic and very friendly.

So we ended up stopping in on a Sunday night. Ordered the fried goat cheese balls, which was decent if you need a snack. Lamb shank for $37.00 was totally tough and de thawed, over cooked also which is hard to accomplish. The reviews also have high reviews on the lamb. I also hade the fettuccine which was totally nuked and the pasta was half raw and tough. Drinks where also off. For $160.00 bucks I could have way better food and drinks else where. Happy staff though.

What a wonderful meal we had at Sandstone. To start us off the calamari and shrimp, were enjoyable as well as our salads. The salmon was cooked to perfection as was the steak. To end our evening we ordered cheesecake and took it with us. We weren’t disappointed. Sterling took wonderful care of us. If you have an opportunity to have a distinguished gentleman come over to check on your meal, he’s the owner who rolls up his sleeves to help out. Thanks again.

After checking all the online reviews we to have a family dinner and I must say we were not disappointed at all. From the time we walked in to the time we ate and left everything was great..good experience very courteous, very knowledgable stuff.We had crispy calamari, ceased salad as starters followed by chicken Parmesan, Mediterranean goat cheese chicken, tortellini Rose. This place... my goodness. The food was 100/10!! Everything was absolutely delicious!!! The service was very prompt and friendly. Very very attentive. The ambiance was very quiet and near Niagara Falls, about a 4 min drive. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place when in the area.

Had a very nice meal and company. Tables are a little close together. 3.5 out of 5. Went there for a brunch. Going back would be fine but might also look for other places too
