SanRes Parrilla

Nos hablaron de este restaurante un amigo de la familia, así que decidimos visitarlo y ver por qué era tan popular. El lugar es como encontrar una pequeña finca. Puedes ubicar el restaurante gracias a un gran letrero y algunas coloridas banderas alrededor de los árboles. Hay un buen lugar para estacionar tu auto y gracias a que está alejado de la ciudad (el lugar no está en Bucaramanga pero está cerca, el próximo pueblo se llama Portugal así que pasarás más de 30 minutos allí) puedes disfrutar de la tranquilidad del paisaje y del aire fresco. El lugar es realmente bonito, en la entrada principal hay el carro de Los Picapiedra, donde puedes tomar algunas fotos divertidas y luego encontrarás dos lugares. A la derecha hay una tienda de souvenirs donde puedes sentarte después de la cena y luego frente a ti verás el área principal del restaurante. Fuimos durante el fin de semana ¡y oh Dios estaba lleno de gente! La fila era larga y mientras esperábamos nos abordó un mesero que nos pidió llenar un formulario que resultó ser el menú. Nos dijo que la picada normal (con diferentes tipos de carne) sería perfecta para 3 o 4 personas, así que seguimos con él, ya que esta es la atracción principal del lugar. Después de pagar, el mismo mesero nos llevó a una mesa que nos atendió, estábamos frente a un escenario donde había un chico cantando, ¡sí, tienen música en vivo allí! El lugar es grande y hay diferentes áreas donde puedes sentarte. Perfecto para la familia gracias a sus áreas abiertas e incluso puedes llevar a tu mascota, lo cual es genial. Después de una larga espera, nuestra orden estaba lista. La porción de la picada es realmente grande y es cierto que es perfecta para muchos, pero para ser honesto no creo que la carne fuera de este mundo, estabac en mas bien a su corte. Creo que lo que hace que este lugar sea popular es el ambiente y el paisaje que son los valores agregados para toda la experiencia del restaurante. Valoramos el lugar y la comida. Después del plato principal fuimos por algunos postres que estaban realmente deliciosos.

We were told about this restaurant from a friend of the family so we decided to visit it and check why it was so popular.The place is like a little "finca" you'll find the restaurant thanks to a big sign plus some colouful flags around trees. They have good space for parking your car and thanks for being so away from the city (the place is not in Bucaramanga nor near it, the closest village is called Portugal so you'll spend more than 30 minutes going there) you can enjoy the peacefulness of the countryside plus fresh air.The place is really nice, at the main entrance there's The Flinstones car where you can take some fun pictures and then you'll find 2 spaces. To the right there's a souvenir shop where you can sit as well after eating and then in front you'll see the main area of the restaurant.We went over the weekend and oh gosh it was packed with people! The queue was long and while waiting we were approached by a waiter who asked us to fill a form which was actually the menu. He told us that the normal "picada" (tray with different kind of meats) would be perfect for 3 or 4 persons so we went ahead with it since that's the highlight of the place. After payment we were guided to a table by the same waiter who attended us, we were in front of a stage where a guy were singing, yeah they have live music there!The place is big and there are different areas where you can sit. Perfect for family thanks to its open areas and you can even take your pet with you which is really awesome.After long waiting our order was ready. The portion of "picada" is really big and it's true that is perfect for many but to be honest I don't think the meat was out of this world, it was acually pretty average. I believe that what makes this place popular is the environment and landscape which are the "added values" to the whole experience of the restaurant. We did enjoy the place and the food.After the main course we went for some desserts which were really delicious.

This restaurant is really fabulous, it has a sensational view, very popular, I went with my family on women's day and that experience was super good and unforgettable because we shared many moments together, dancing, singing, in ATVs and enjoying the culture Colombian. with the...shows that were held, we ate picada, it is not that cheap or expensive, it depends on the amount you eat, but if the price is very well related to the portions, you have to queue to consume, on weekends it is super long but with the fun time goes by fast, the decoration of this place is magnificent, because it is very colorful apart from the nature that surrounds it, the games and the car The Flinstones, this place I highly recommend. the best and you can have a lot of fun there.
