I’ve often passed by the Sant Ambroeus Coffee Bar on Third Avenue and have always thought it seemed overpriced, attracting a clientele that doesn’t mind spending more to avoid the cheaper coffee crowd. I was taken aback when I saw that a large latte cost over $8; I probably should have left right then. However, I found myself wondering if their coffee might be worth that price. While deliberating, I looked at the prices for their salads and sandwiches, which actually seemed reasonable. Mixed feelings with this coffee bar: the coffees have a very good quality but the service is not good for these reasons: -Officially they don't offer table service but you see they do it to some tables. Are some clients VIP or what? -When you order the coffee and see you in a table, they still give the coffee to you in cardboard cups instead of proper cups. They should ask clients what they prefer. -You pay more for big coffee size than for standard coffee size because they

If there's one item you have to try, it's the Tonno Classico. The Yogurt Parfait is unsweetened, which I appreciate, and it goes perfectly with the honey granola and fruit that come with it. They also serve one of my favorite oat milk lattes (the Caffelatte), which is wonderfully smooth and not bitter or acidic at all. Always a fantastic experience! They serve the best macchiato, and it’s perfectly packaged to avoid any spills. I usually enjoy the Salamino Felino and Prosciutto Cotto. However, the Almost Almond Cornetto was a bit soggy this time.

Delicious juices and lox croissant sandwiches! The space is quite small, making it primarily a grab-and-go spot. There are three two-seat tables outside and four two-seat tables inside, along with a few stools at the bar.
