I don’t understand how this hostel has such great reviews here and in booking. I booked through their website as it seemed cheaper and they stated “taxes included in the price”. When I got there taxes were in fact not included in the price they asked me to also pay city tax. While I understand that money is not for them blabla you should still always mention it when booking! Most of the staff was friendly yes, but the organization is not the best. First the room to leave your bags in is locked but they give the key to anyone who walks in basically and nobody checks if someone is maybe going through other peoples bags….They did let me check in a little bit early when the rooms were cleaned wh...

The hostel was great, it was clean, spacious, had a friendly welcoming vibe and fun. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful. We even had a free upgrade to a 4 room dorm in an apartment which was wonderful! The rooms are very clean and a locker is provided with a lock key (card scanner which is very convenient. They have plenty of activities here making it the perfect place to come to if you are alone. They also have dinner and breakfast available at a very good price. You can hire a towel at the reception, and the room key is a 10€ deposit on arrival. Este albergue fue excelente y tenía todo lo que buscas. La ubicación es perfecta, cerca del metro y a poca distancia a pie de muchos lugares impresionantes. Además, como el albergue está limpio y tiene seguridad las 24 horas, me sentí seguro y cómodo durante toda mi estadía. El personal es muy amable y te hace sentir bienvenido, lo cual es importante para un viajero solitario como yo. I would recommend this hostel to every single traveler out there. The common area is incredibly cool, providing the perfect atmosphere to connect with fellow guests and all the staff members are very nice. When I arrived, exhausted after a long travel, luck was on my side as Adam was manning the reception. He noticed that I was really tired and kindly offered to help with my heavy backpack. He generously shared with me hidden gems and delightful local restaurants serving authentic cuisine. He even recommended me to join one of the hostel's events, and it turned out to be an absolute blast. Nos alojamos en uno de los apartamentos de tres habitaciones y no encontramos ningún problema; todo estaba bastante limpio y claro. Los otros huéspedes eran lo suficientemente tranquilos como para casi no ser visibles, y el personal era muy agradable y siempre intentaba ayudar. La cocina del apartamento fue una adición muy bienvenida que resultó muy útil, también estaba bien equipada y limpia. No asistimos a ninguno de los eventos comunitarios organizados por el personal (como tours, etc.), pero fue bonito ver que existían. I’ve been staying in hostels all over Europe for the past 3 years, since I started traveling by myself. I can say, without a doubt, that St.Jordy Sagrada Familia is on my top 3! The staff is extremely friendly and you can easily meet nice and interesting people. Besides, the rooms are in great condition and the toilets are clean! Lastly I want to say that Vitoria, the manager has been doing an outstanding job! She deals very good with unexpected situations and takes into account the customers needs. I’m happy that she is representing our country in St.Jordi :

Tuvimos que pedir al personal durante dos noches seguidas que solicitaran a otros huéspedes que bajaran el volumen, ya que tenían música y su respuesta fue un simple "no, hasta las 3 am", pero continuaron hasta las 5 am. Irónicamente, apagan las luces desde la recepción a las 11 am para que otros huéspedes puedan dormir bien. Las instalaciones están limpias, pero son muy inconsiderados con el ruido, así que si necesitas calidad de sueño, simplemente alójate en otro lugar.

Had a great experience here through and through. The location of the hostel is really good, as it seems like you can get everywhere in the city easily. Also, even though the overall atmosphere is amazing, what really impressed me was the employees. All of them were super nice, especially Ceci, Sara, Eli, Nahuel, and Arianne. It's my first time in Barcelona and it's makes amazing by Giovanni and other staff in my two nights stay. They were truly amazing, kind and very much helpful during my stay. The place has vibrant colors and living area including skating room and fully equipped kitchen, and it's feel just like home and secure. I'll be looking forward to staying with you guys again. Honestly, we loved our time in Barcelona and in our hostel. The staff is super cooperative, the vibe is extremely good and you feel relaxed and at ease. We ran upto the staff for all sorts of questions regarding travelling and they were more than happy and willing to help. If we come back to this city, then this is the place we will stay again it
