A local place serving good local food at great prices. At first glance this is a petrol station converted into an American diner. There is the long counter, some shiny metal and small tables. However the food is not standard American at all. It's local Catalan and good. The set menu is especially good value 16€ for drink, two courses and pudding or coffee. At those prices we were happy to have both! Very well worth a detour from the motorway or if you're in the area. We would definitely return. Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian options. I was heading to La Jonquera on the old N-II and I stopped by chance at this restaurant. The truth was that it was a success. A varied menu and excellent service. They had a terrace outside, a very large bar inside and a very large and air-conditioned dining room. Me dirigía a La Jonquera por la antigua N-II y, por casualidad, me detuve en este restaurante. La verdad es que fue toda una acierto. Un menú variado y una atención excelente. Tenían una terraza en el exterior, una barra muy grande en el interior y un amplio salón para comer, bien climatizado. Es un lugar muy recomendable si pasas por aquí, justo antes de llegar a Figueres. #diariodeandar
Paramos por casualidad y fue todo un acierto; la comida era exquisita y, a pesar de que era tarde, no hubo ningún problema. Totalmente recomendable. Si vuelvo a pasar, ya sé dónde comer.
