On the street behind the Crowne Plaza, Bahnhofstrasse, there are several restaurants of merit. I tried one of the Italian ones first. For a Thursday night, the pace was very crowded, and although I was quickly seated, it was apparent the restaurant didn’t have enough...help for the large number of diners. My waitperson apologized, and fortunately, his experience compensated for much of the wait. I asked for a pasta without meat or a cream sauce and he suggested the spaghetti with seafood.. we were four in the santa lucia last night. first we waited very long until the order was received, then we waited about 45 min for the food. in the meantime, we were thrown in a very unfriendly way and wisely the cutlery and the teller quasi. the order was also not correctly received and the food was completely unhurried. if we asked for additional items (e.g. further drinks or billing), the waiter came only a grumpy answer. we felt very uncomfortable there and were very disappointed! I'm sure we're not going to eat again. Pity!
I was a little skeptical about Italian in Germany! What a nice place. The tortellini special with truffles was very flavorful capped with a nice Chianti. The tortellini pasta is handmade and stuffed with fresh ingredients. The tiramisu is homemade and is not as sweet...as others and infused with a robust expresso dusting. I was somewhat sceptical to italian in Germany! the Tortellini Special with truffles was very spicy with a beautiful chianti. the Tortellini paste is handmade and filled with fresh ingredients. the tiramisu is homemade and not as sweet as others and enriched with a sturdy expresso pollination. the fruit compote as a garnitur for the tiramisu was excellent. the service was great and spoke several languages to make them feel like home.

If you're looking for delicious Italian food, then this is the place. The host, who is also the owner of the restaurant, was extremely helpful. We loved the cozy atmosphere and ambiance. Very close to Crown Plaza is this wonderful Italian restaurant run by Karen and her family. We dined there nights while travelling with friends and both were consistently good with personalised dishes to suit particular needs. Very warm, friendly place with little bonus end...of dinner drinks.
