Santo - Reservar una mesa

We love Santo and usually love the service and good food. This special time the server was from their game and the kitchen was missing a few beats. No posole in the posole and no carne adovado as ordered? Food delivered to the wrong table and no one really asks if food was satisfactory. They made the posole, but we hope that the off-day is an exception to this place.

While the food was good it was severely overpriced. I love the idea of locally farmed food and I want to support that but even with that in mind it seemed too expensive. The server was a bit more hands off than I was looking for. Would go again, but only if I didn’t have to pay $8 for 3 tablespoons of guacamole.

The food was good, not commiserate with the price though. The potatoes that came with the main dishes, taste and texture, made me think they were reheats from the previous night. The queso was amazing.

So glad I stopped here during my short visit to Boulder. Very recommended!
