I have visited Sapodilla's Caribbean and Catering several times. In September 2020, I returned because I wanted to host a Jamaican-themed event and planned to use Sapodilla’s as my caterer. Their website offered an impressive variety of options, but I noticed they didn’t list prices for the catering items. So, I decided to visit in person to ask some initial questions and clear up any concerns.

A friend told me about this place and I finally decided to give it a shot. I usually go to the Caribbean spot in the same shopping center as Safeway grocery store but I am happy to say I will no longer be going there. Sapodilla's Is utterly amazingand doesn?t need a pitch more of seasoning. I ordered the jerk salmon and shrimp platter with a side of roti OMG !!! swore theheavens opened up on my first bite. I will be going back to try other things on the menu !

I ordered the jerk salmon and shrimp platter with a side of roti—OMG! It felt like heaven opened up with my first bite. I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes from the menu!
The food is okay. It had been several Years since I've visited but yesterday 6/8/17 I stopped buy to get the veggie platter. I got cabbage, spinach, curry potato, chickpeas and rice. The chickpeas were a bit bland and the cabbage was too sweet ?. The potatoes were really the best on the plater. All this plus a fountain sorrel cost about $14. The food wasn't as flavorful as it once was. But I'll stop by for a sorrel drink every now and then.

The prices have increased, but the portions have noticeably shrunk. For $22, they include very little shrimp or oxtails, and the containers are quite small. The food here is just average, and it seems like they prioritize profit over offering good value. I'd rather travel into the city for a better meal.
I'm new to the area and I was in the mood for some authentic Carribbean cuisine to enjoy while partaking in the Bounty Killer #VERZUZ Beenie Man music battle. They did not disappoint. I thoroughly enjoyed my stew AND curry chicken, beef patty, cocoa bread and Kola champagne!
$10 lunch ?!?!? OH YEAH !I ordered the Jerk Chicken lunch special , I was surprised with the size and I thought it was not going to fill me up but boy was I wrong ! perfect portion ! juicy chicken and tasty rice. Friendly service! I will def. come hereagain .
Prices are elevating and they are giving less food. They barely give you shrimp or Qxtails $22) for their prices and their containers are small. This place is okay but seems to be going down with their greed. I'll take the trip to the city to get myfood.

Placed an order online. Food wasn?t ready when I arrived an hour later. Libby packed. No one assisting. This was my last straw. $20 for 2 oxtails My last time eating here the ?jerk chicken? was just baked chicken.
Food is delicious and tasty and the portion size is big and price is fine. The beef and chicken patties are nice and spicy. Jerk wings and stew chicken was not that spicy but fall off the bone and tasty.
