Hier ist es wie in Italien: eine kleine Bar mit leckerem Espressokaffee zu moderaten Preisen. Ein highlight sind die panozzi aus dem Ofen: neapolitanisches Pizzabrot, warm, mit gegrilltem Gemüse, Käse oder Aufschnitt belegt. Eine echte Alternative zu den immer gleichen Brötchen vom Bäcker.... Mittags gibt es leckere pasta al forno, selbstgebackene Quiche oder Focaccia und frischen Salat. Auch die cornetti sind wie in Italien. Für mittags oder auf dem Weg zu Berlins Sehenswürdigkeiten ein geeigneter Zwischenstop. Empfehlenswert auch die Auswahl an süditalienischen Weinen, Kaffee und Olivenöl.
Esta pequeña cafetería está dirigido por un hombre italiano, que siempre le da la bienvenida con una sonrisa. Hay como 12 panozzis diferentes para elegir, aunque solo he probado algunos de ellos, puedo decir que son impresionantes. Él también ofrece dos menús diferentes todos los días (si hay focaccia, es su día de suerte, es genial). Puede tomar un tiempo para conseguir tu comida porque él es el único en el café, pero la espera es sin duda vale la pena y lo recomiendo de verdad! Muy céntrico, al lado de Checkpoint Charlie. Precios alrededor de 4-6€.
This small café is managed by an Italian man, who always welcomes you with a smile. There are like 12 different panozzis to choose and although I have only tried some of them, I can say that they are all awesome. He also offers two different menus everyday (if there is focaccia, it is your lucky day, it is great).It may take a while to get your food because he is the only one in the café, but the waiting is definitely worth it and I really recommend it! Very centrally located, next to Checkpoint Charlie. Prices around 4-6€.

Ein kleiner schön eingerichteter Laden : ich gehe gerne und oft dorthin, manchmal auch um nur hallo zu sagen : Der Besitzer ist immer vor Ort und sehr herzlich !! Erinnert sich an seine Gäste und auch im Stress lässt er sich nicht aus der Ruhe bringen. Ausgezeichneter Kaffee und immer frisches Mittagessen. Die panozzis gibt es in verschiedenen Varianten und auch sonder wünsche werden mit Freude erfüllt. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen, solche Läden sind leider eine Seltenheit geworden.
Cant recommend more of this little cafe/restaurant next Check Point Charlie. This is already our 1-2 times /week work lunch place since last year! :) Normally the owner will make 2 different menu /day incl. one for vegetarian. BTW, it has one of the best espressoes in town, from a niche brand: passalacqua. Coffee bean/powder is also for sale.
