This is our local and we eat here at least twice a Month. i went again with my family on Saturday night and was as always extremely pleased. The place was full and yet service still good. the decor is lovely as it is located in cannon hill shopping centre, you don't notice the car park out front. All age groups come here, from the family with children on a big round table to the 2 elderly people enjoying their green tea. the prices are good value for the quality but expect to pay $40 per adult, as this is a BYO wine, though the end result is very satisfying. they also do takeaways and have highchair for the very little ones. if you love Asian food, Try it, you will love it.
We visited last weekend with some friends visiting us from Sydney and it was such a good evening! We got there quite late but the staff were accommodating and offered to chill all of our wine that we brought with us (BYO). Two of us are vegetarian and the waiter was knowledgable and helpful on what dishes would be good to make as a veggie adaptation! Two of us had Mei Goreng and the other two had Nasi Goreng. Tasted so authentic and was a generous portion too! Friendly, smiley staff and very fast dishes = we will definitely be back!
We certainly enjoy our Asian fair and have sampled different styles from Melbourne to Hong Kong & Singapore and San Francisco.I can honestly attest this venue to be one of the best Asian restaurants we've had the pleasure of enjoying.Outstanding chilli mudcrab, butter oat prawns, vegetables two ways and laksa'. You won't be disappointed with the quality or portion size of any of their dishes.Spacious seating, endless convenient parking, easy to locate, friendly service and a relaxing atmosphere make this restaurant a gem.
Good Chinese/Asian style food is hard to find in Brisbane, especially in the suburbs.We were recommended to this restaurant and we were simply delighted with the smart atmosphere, great tasting food and excellent service. Have been back twice more and have been delighted every time. We now live closer to their Valley restaurant and are looking forward to checking it out.

Excellent quality clean asian food for takeaway. Could make the portions of dipping sauce bigger. Chicken & Corn Soup, chicken satay, duck spring roll, san choi bau, prawn and bacon mongolian beef, fried rice and mixed vegetable. (Left overs for lunch the next day!)
Went as a group of four, we all shared some entree's and mains. The food was very good, and I would definitely go back. Service was also very good, it is licensed and BYO. This is a really good restaurant, and I would definitely recommend it to family and friends.
We were delighted by the tasty selections on offer at Satay Ria Malaysian Restaurant. My pick would be the BBQ pork in plum sauce, but everything was delicious and reasonably price. The staff were friendly and attentive.
I recently had a business lunch at the Satay Ria Malaysian Restaurant at Cannon Hill. The food was Amazing, Great Service and Friendly Staff. Don't let the shop front fool you, it's worth a visit.

It was our first time here and was so impressed. The food was delicious. It was the best Asian meal I have ever experienced. Will go back for sure. You must try the chilli mud crab!
Well presented clean restaurant with really excellent quality food. When in Brisbane this is my go to Chinese restaurant and the food is consistent with pleasant friendly staff
