do not skip dessert! they want to try this soul food place for awhile! love the story behind the cook as well as the history behind the red drink that is the original Kool-Aid. they win this place a try on a Saturday night and experienced amazing authentic soul food! they get a lot for their money and it's all delicious. super friendly staff and service. very appreciated the gluten-free options. they make their own dizzying (so good! and the soul sauce *che kissing* absolutely loved the black pork and cries, my man loved the fried chicken and golden pracht. the cook comes to serve them, it is very welcoming and personal. P.S. try the red drink!

Super friendly staff. Meals cooked to order, so expect a bit of a wait. We enjoyed the food and had another meals' worth of leftovers that we took home. Be sure to ask for dominoes so the folks at your table can play the game while your food is being made.

one of the best places where I went for seafood. delicious fried chicken, amazing pommes and the pasta with cheese (because I forgot the name) was exceptional!

Awesome shrimp and grits! Great atmosphere and delicious food. Loved that the owner came over to chat with us.
